Ensuring your eyesight is spot on is just one part of the equation. Eye health is just as, if not more, important when it comes to routine check-ups.

- Identify Concerns or Pre-existing Conditions
First we start with a careful case history to work out any symptoms that you have noticed while considering any previous diagnosis and your family history. We also take into account your current health issues, such as Diabetes and Arthritis, which can impact your eye health. - Eye Exam
This is when we use our high magnification microscope to view the structures of the eye, eyelids and tear film. This can detect many different eye conditions. If an eye condition is detected or suspected, we will assess the situation further. This could involve education and monitoring, further testing, active treatment or a referral to appropriate specialists.
What if my eye health requires further attention?
On occasion, we may find eye conditions or suspect general health conditions. If these are better managed by other health professionals, such as an ophthalmologist or your GP, we organise a referral to the appropriate place.
We are also therapeutically qualified to prescribe eye drops for all manner of eye conditions.
